Kwn is stepping straight out of East London into the musical world of R&B-infused Electronic music. Kwn is a breath of fresh air in a space where it seems people are either sticking to one sound or bouncing between sounds. Kwn doesn’t put any limitations on her art as she seems to never close herself off from being versatile in her vocal delivery. She masters her execution by delivering a low raspy voice alongside dreamy ethereal ad-libs like on her earlier songs such as ‘No Cinderella’. I specifically like Kwn because I love the electronic aspect she is bringing to the forefront, it’s refreshing to hear electronic elements infused with R&B in a way that doesn’t feel gimmicky. ‘Five More’ is another one of her tracks I feel very much drawn to because it’s a heartfelt personification of what it means to move on but still feel inclined to answer to a said person. Kwn feels called to justify her freedom and express that she’s moved on by stating she’s traded up to ‘five more bitches’ because five is better than the person in question. Can’t wait to see her develop as an artist in this sound she created.
